What do we do?

Artem are a physical special effects company with workshops in West London and Glasgow - working across film, TV, commercials, visitor attractions and museums.

At Artem we are able offer a full range of physical effects from pyrotechnics, model making and atmospherics to mechanical rigs, liquids and prosthetics. In addition, we have an extensively stocked hire department with items available to productions for both short and long term durations.

With a wealth of experience, our organisation is made up of highly flexible and responsive staff and freelance specialists – able to deal with the changing needs of a large scale production and deliver a quality service anywhere in the world!

We place great importance on close, consultative relationships with our clients. From the outset, you will have a dedicated designer allocated to you for the duration of your project who will keep you informed of progress at every stage and gain all necessary approvals. We will listen carefully and then use our knowledge, experience and resources to advise and guide you to a great result.

Our multidisciplinary approach allows us to find solutions in a creative and innovative way. We recognise the need to adopt a flexible way of working as there are always different ways of approaching a brief. We will always discuss the relevant pros and cons of each route in order to ensure the most appropriate method is employed.
