What do we do?

With in excess of 90,000 sq ft of dry secure storage storage area, KSL is the largest set storage company in the UK and the management of KSL have over 20 years of experience in the long term storage of scenery and props for the entertainment industry. KSL operate its own fleet of purpose built vehicles ranging from 3.5 tonne Luton vans to 45 ft articulated scenery trailers. All our vehicles are driven by helpful & experienced drivers. By utilizing our own vehilcles we can not only control and guarantee the safe delivery and collection of your scenery but also offer very competative rates as the whole process is kept in-house. KSL is the only set storage company that is dedicated to recycling we have done this by setting up a separate division called Scenery Salvage - please visit us at www.scenerysalvage.com. When sets are no longer required they are broken down, re-usable set pieces are photographed, catalogued and place on our website for re-use within the industry subject to approval by production companies. Component parts such as scenery ironmongery are also placed on the website stocklist for re-use. The remaining materials that are not re-usable are sorted in to wood and chipped for re-use as chipboard, animal bedding and equestrian use, metal smelted down for re-use as raw material and plastic peletised again for re-use as raw material uses such as vac form sheets etc. Unlike other companies Scenery Salvage carry out this process in-house thus guaranteeing that the scenery is re-used or recycled, rather than subcontracted to a third party and losing control of the process. KSL trades under the Road Haulage Association (RHA) Terms and Conditions of storage but now can arrange insurance cover if required, please call us for further details.
